Set up Kili

Run the Kili install script
Open the VS Code terminal and paste:Press Enter when prompted by the terminal.

Sign in
Your default browser will open. Sign in with Google or with your email (magic link).After signing in, a window prompts you to return to VS Code. Click Go to dashboard and switch back to VS Code.

Approve access
Accept any access requests VS Code or the Kili extension asks for.
Use Kili inside Claude Code

Open Claude Code in VS Code
Open the Claude Code extension in VS Code.

Switch to plan mode
Press Shift + Tab to cycle modes until you reach plan mode.

Ask Claude a question
Ask Claude anything that takes some time to process. A Kili ad appears where the loading indicator usually is.

Open ad links
Press Ctrl / Cmd + right-click on any URL in an ad to open its CTA link. Not every ad includes one.
Track earnings and complete KYC

Open the dashboard
Go to app.trykili.ai and sign in with the same account if you aren’t already.

Follow the walkthrough
Complete the in-app walkthrough. Your dashboard shows revenue and impression metrics based on the ads you’ve viewed.

Complete KYC
Click the red Complete KYC item on the sidebar to open the earnings page, then complete KYC through Stripe.
Use Kili in your native terminal
You can also view ads in your system terminal instead of VS Code.1
Open your terminal
Open Terminal on macOS or your terminal app on Windows.

Launch Claude Code
Type
claude to open Claude Code.3

Ask questions and view ads
Ask Claude questions and Kili ads will appear while it works.
